These Brindle Kerb Stones are designed for driveway paving and offer you two profiles to choose from when installing (a high-profile 60° chamfer angle or low-profile 30° chamfer angle). Their primary use is as edge restraints for your driveway block paving. They can be paired with brindle driveway block paving to create your edge course (stretcher or soldier) that can be contrasted with the interior driveway blocks.

Block Paving Edge Restraints

The main function of these kerb stones is to be used as edge restraints for block paving. Their dimensions and profile mean they are easy to install, as laying, levelling and backfilling are all straightforward. So haunching and securing the perimeter of your driveway block paving could not be easier.

Choice of Chamfered Profiles

This kerb stone can be laid in a high-profile or low-profile format. So depending on if you want a steep kerb edge or a shallow kerb edge, these block can be laid either way:

  • High Profile - 60° chamfer angle (block height 200 mm)
  • Low Profile - 30° chamfer angle (block height 150 mm)

Buying options

These kerb stones are sold in a 100 piece pack. Each block is 100mm wide, so this will provide a kerb of 10 metres long (10m linear).

Finish

These chamfered kerb blocks have a light textured finish.

Installation notes

To use these kerb stone blocks as edge restraints for your driveway paving, they should be laid on mortar, positioned and levelled. Once you are happy with their position and level, they should be haunched with cement to ensure they are full secured in position. Let the bedding mortar and haunching cement cure for 24 hours before attempting to lay any of the driveway's interior blocks.

Tip - you can use the kerb stone blocks as a guide to set the level of your sharp sand screed (laying course).
